Bay Area Senior Open (BASO) Summer 2008 is in its 2nd year. The tournament is purposely run at the same time as the Bay Area Junior Open (BAJO) so that parents can compete while their kids compete. A minimum age of 30 years old is required to participate in BASO.
This year BASO will be run on Sunday (May 25) and has only 2 combined age categories: Doubles 70 and Doubles 90. Each event costs $25 for a team of two players. Join us old geysers and have some smashing fun!

Pricing includes 2 pieces of Yonex feather shuttlecocks for each match.
Note: This is a Uni-Sex doubles event. A team can consist of Male/Male, Male/Female, or Female/Female members. Overall, the goal is to have fun playing badminton and create Senior Badminton community!
EVENT MATCHES:
All events consist of single-elimination with consolation. All matches including Consolation Matches are run using the 21x3 rally point scoring system.
AWARDS:
Trophies or medals will be given to all winners, runner-ups, and consolation winners.
